The politician warned that there is likely to be a 'co-ordinated terror attack' on the US, accusing Biden of having let the borders 'collapse'

California Congressman Tom McClintock has warned that the US is likely to be struck by a "coordinated terror attack", accusing Joe Biden of failing to keep the US safe.

Speaking to GB News at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (Arc) Conference, taking place in London, he warned that the attack could be similar to the assault on Israel by Hamas earlier this month.

The politician said there are "growing concerns" about threats from terror organisations, especially in the wake of the conflict in Israel and the Middle East.

Asked if he trusts Joe Biden to keep the United States safe, McClintock told GB News: "No, Quite the contrary.

"When he abandoned Afghanistan, we released 5000 most dangerous Terrorists on the planet above.

"We know where one of those terrorists went. Ten days later they went to Abbey Gate and detonated a bomb and killed 13 US servicemen.

"We don't know where the other 5000 are, but I think it's a pretty good bet that more than a few are among those 1.7 million God knows who crossed the border that we haven't been able to stop.

"Among those we have been able to stop, we've seen a geometric increase in suspected terrorists being stopped at the border.

"I'm afraid that we are going to see a coordinated terrorist attack in the United States at some point in the near future. And I think that you saw the model for that strike Israel on October 7th."

Asked what the biggest threat faced by the US at the moment is, he warned: "I think it's the same threats that faced the Roman Empire in its decline, destroying the economy by overspending and allowing its borders to collapse.

"That's what happened in Rome. That's what we'll do in any country that allows those conditions to continue.

"And we're looking at both of them right now in the United States."

He added: "There are growing concerns about threats from terrorist organizations, especially in regards to Israel and the Middle East."

McClintock accused Biden of making the problem of migration worse, claiming Trump brought illegal migration "to a virtual standstill".

Asked whether he believes Biden should be doing more to tackle migration, the Congressman responded: "No, he's the he's the cause of the problem.

"Donald Trump had brought illegal immigration to a virtual standstill. His Mexico policy had stopped the phoney asylum cases.

"We were nearing completion of the border wall while we were enforcing court-ordered deportations for the first time in years. And it was working.

"Biden reversed all of those policies the very first day in office."
